The third mini-challenge of the Thankfully Reading weekend asks what reading community we’re most thankful for. I imagine this might be an oft-repeated response, but Twitter really has become my bookish go-to. From book bloggers and reviewers to up-to-the-minute book-related news, everything I care to know about the bookish world finds its way to my Twitter feed.
How about you, what community feeds you the most book-related goodness?
You’re right, I bet almost everyone says Twitter! But that’s because it’s true. Between Twitter and the book blogging community, my reading and literary life has become so much more.
It’s funny how different my twitter and my Facebook networks are – though I’ve slowly been adding more bookish people from the former to the latter :)
Ah, I remember Twitter! Haha, when I first started blogging, I used it all the time but I’m now so far removed from it that I have no friends and I need to change that. I do miss it. I think your post may send me back in that direction…
Do it up, and come find me if you do! @aglaia531 :)
I am missing out since I don’t Twitter. Going to have to check it out.
You definitely should – the three bloggers hosting this weekend’s festivities are some of my favorite tweeps :) Come join the fray!
No Twitter account for me.. but I have heard good things ;)
I had an account for a while before I started using it regularly, but now I’m hooked – I love how it keeps me connected with other readers, especially for events like this :)
I have to agree! I’ve met a tremendous amount of bookish people thanks to Twitter!
